The only thing you need to run ManagingEnergy is a web browser. All features and all functions are available through a standard internet connection, using any of the most common web browsers.
Unlike our competitors, full access is not restricted to machines with installed client applications. If you can see the internet, you can use ManagingEnergy. Because access is completely standard, there are no customization concerns with routers, ports, and firewalls.
Security
User access is limited by Role Definitions, so that each user can see only the facilities, meters, invoices, and other information relevant to his or her job. Roles also determine who can add, delete, or change information, and who can only display it in their web browser.
And all data transmission is SSL-128 encrypted; the same protection used for online banking.
