Structured Site Audit

  rev. 15/09/2010

As part of a structured site audit, the Building Operations Module includes over 40 different data collection forms structured with three factors in mind:

1.To cover any conceivable on-site situation.
2.To be expandable to cover any sized building.
3.To prompt the auditor to collect all of the information that will be required at the analysis stage.

Structured site audits can be performed by outside specialists, by employees, or by a mix of the two.  The ManagingEnergy approach ensures that the data collected includes everything required for analysis, and that it is all retained even if the site work is phased over an extended period.  It also ensures that the information collected is consistent from the first building to the last.

The overriding goals are to drive down data collection costs by providing a clear process, while driving up audit quality by ensuring completeness.

Site data collection forms are designed in a clear fill in the blanks format, including indicators for multiple choice and guides where photos are needed.  The photos later become labeled and categorized entries under the documents tab for the system, to be referenced any time.
