A Scenario is a grouping of Opportunities used for reporting purposes. mec allows the user to define  any number of scenarios within a portfolio.  A single opportunity can be included in any or all scenarios.

Scenarios are a flexible tool for financial analysis and planning.  Typical scenarios could be:

•Low Cost / No Cost
•Lighting Only
•Capital Upgrade
•Occupancy Comfort
•Legislative Compliance

Scenarios can be used for a single building, and are an extremely powerful way to sort and analyze opportunities across a portfolio.  The online, interactive nature of the mec system makes it very quick and easy for users to define, change, and report on scenarios.
