Equivalent kilo-watt hours (ekWh) is a standard unit of energy consumption used to compare energy sources.  Conversion constants can be adjusted by the mec system administrator, but normally should never be changed.  Some conversions are:

1.0 m3 natural gas                = 10.32 ekWh

1.0 MCF natural gas                = 292.2 ekWh

1.0 litres #2 fuel oil (diesel)        = 10.83 ekWh

1 GJ natural gas                        = 277.8 ekWh

1.0 kWh electricity                = 1.0 ekWh
